Lord, Teach Us How to Pray!

Uniting the Nation in Intercession!

The Red Leaf House of Prayer is a virtual house of prayer - instead of meeting together in a building we meet together on one hour long telephone conference prayer calls. This means we can build a truly national network of united intercession that anyone could participate in from all over the nation. On a call you could find intercessors from many different provinces or territories, each with the same heart to see a full national revival and Canada truly becoming a source of healing to the nations!

Being virtual means that we can span the time zones and so we carry a vision to see 100 hours of prayer raised up from 4 in the morning to 11 at night, 6 days a week. Imagine the power and blessing God would release to the Church as we agree from across the nation in this unceasing flow of prayer. Every hour a prayer meeting, with fervent prayers and passionate hearts.

Our Prayer DNA

Prophetic-
We are a prophetic ministry as we seek to not only "hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church", but we align our prayer with what God is saying. We use the monthly Ears2Hear prophetic prayer directives as the prayer themes for our calls. These prayer directives have been carefully discerned by a team of city prayer leaders from across Canada with input from the Canadian Prophetic Council.

Submitted
We honour the local church and pastoral authority. Every intercessor that participates in the RLHOP is planted in a local church and in good relationship with the leadership of that body. Every call has a trained prayer leader who serves the team by facilitating and guiding the flow of prayer. We believe leadership is a gift to the body and creates a safe environment for us to run together in.

Relational-
Every intercessor who joins the RLHOP makes a commitment to a specific time (or times). We begin to quickly grow in friendship and seek to faithfully attend our prayer time every week. Because it is so easy to just pick up the phone, consistantly attending every week is not hard at all. We may not see each other's faces, but soon learn the sound of each other's voices and our hearts become knit together.
